We are moving to the USA!

**** WE WOULD RATHER SELL THAN MOVE IT ****

We are pleased to take this opportunity to announce that we will be moving our business to the United States. This relocation plan has been in the design phase for several years. We are moving forward with our objective in the Charlotte, NC region. This will offer to our US customers a more centralized location east of the Mississippi River. Our move will offer better shipping rates with NO export duties for all of our US customers. The new facilities provide a much larger warehouse size to assist us in our continued growth.

As a result of the move, we are making a one-time offer for the Torus PRO only, with free shipping and NO export duties until stocks are exhausted and/or limited to the end of December 2015, whichever occurs first. We encourage you to take advantage of this sale and save BIG! We extend our leasing options for those who wish to use them with this offer.

If your interest is in a less expensive starter package, please note that the Pulsar is currently on sale in a “stepper version package”. This is an excellent way to be up and running “out of the box”.

We thank all of our loyal customers that have come on board with their support during this transition period to the United States. We will provide continued improvements and support in the future and always looking forward in being of service to you.

    Regards,
    Novakon Team

I couldn't find this info on the datasheet for the Torus Pro: what is the constant power range of the spindle?

Congratulations, John. NC is only two states over.
I hope the transition goes with as few hiccups as possible.
    Good Luck with it.

Canadian customers will get the same savings. Keep in mind though, the products are sold in USD and foreign exchange rates apply. If you want a quote for a mill, just let Khai know and we will make sure you get a sale quote comparable to the US savings.

    John

This will most likely be the same with the exception that there may be a slight import duty to Canada. Provincial taxes apply as they always have and the exchange rate is the same. No one can get away from this. Most likely though, we may absorb (most of) the export duties to keep it affordable. The biggest draw back for Canadians is the exchange rate. COG are always purchased in USD so the daily exchange has to be figured into the bottom line.

We will always look at the bottom line and do the best we can to make our machines affordable for Canadians. It is not just a simple formula that we go by.

    Regards,
    John

No, the sales team will continue to be as it is. The beauty of modern social media and communication is that you can operate from a cell phone if needed. Actually, not much in the general operation will be different other than our physical location. We will still assembly the mills (now in the USA) and continue to buy certain components from Americana as we always have. We will now have more convenient access to the larger shows so we plan to attend more of them. It is also part of our "wish plan" to host an operation internal business using our mills in the same facility. We believe this will make for a nice forum to "show and tell". This will take more time to set up though.

With this move, we expect many changes to facilitate improved support and future growth. We are very excited to be at this transition point.

    Regards,
    John

We watch all of the US news and elections coverage... There are many differences in Canadian and US news coverage, particularity in world events. I have to admit that I am not sure about this Obama care I hear about. It seems to be a hot topic on the campaign trail. Health care is different here, but not totally built as a free heath care plan. I am sure I will be surprised when we look into this.
