I'm not sure who your distributor is in the north pole, but I do know that it is a relatively recent addition to the control.
We don't have one with it here, no IGF machines at all in fact. However, I can only imagine if you contact your distributor they should be able to fill you in because I cannot imagine the machine is too old for them to want to commit any time on it.
My $.02
hi, i figure it out : shape must be closed and contain only segments and circle arches. In Autocad it must be drawn not as single entities (normal drawing), but as polyline(joined entities). In Solidworks can be drawn as single entities. Origin of the shape is page(layout) left-bottom in Autocad or the big center that you can't miss in Solidworks. File should be exported as *.dwg. In igf you can import it when you define the shape, right when you define the start point. Also, you can open it as a normal dwg and handle it in your desired ISO machine-code generator (cam). Most CAMs have their own CAD, so not to import drawing from other source, but most single CADs handle much better than "CAMs with integrated CAD". This is why dwg has apeared, so to "carry the shi..et" on. Igf opening a dwg is like a CAM behaviour. well, what can i say
what means $.02 ?
