    Pneumatic draw bar cylinder help

    , admin feel free to move to correct place if wrong location

    I am trying to figure out which air cylinder to buy for my pneumatic draw bar on my PM45 CNC conversion. I was looking at a fabco 3 stage 4 inch air cylinder with 1/2 inch travel. I was wondering if that 1/2 inch would be long enough. I found a great deal on it. So I was hoping that would work.

    I have done this power drawbar and 1/2" will work just fine. You just need enough stroke to compress spring washers and retract clear of top of spindle
