With the data you sent me, our partially readable OptionParameter sheet, and help from memoryman, I can now get the machine to come up, part way. The Option Parameter sheet was not fully readable, but the rest of the parameters were completely readable, and so all parameters have been entered & checked.

Background on this machine - we got it for free, just had to pay for rigging to get it out of a local shop. We MAY have heard that the shop did not want to spend any more money fixing the Puma. When I first tried to bring up the machine, the 24VDC power supply would not come up. I found a shorted cap on one of the boards in the pendant, replaced it, and was then able to get parameters loaded.

The only useful documentation we got with the machine was the parameter sheets, stored in the back of the machine. No operators manual, no parts manual, no schematics. We have tried to get manuals from Daweoo, but it seems that they do not have any in their archives.

It seems that our only recourse is to find manuals from an identical model that has been scrapped-out, or pay someone to have copies made of those manuals. Do you have any contact with someone who would be willing to make copies of their manuals?

Right now we can do some operations, but not all. The manual operation (foot pedal controls) for tailstock extend/retract, spindle jaws open/close work, turret can be indexed by pb on pendant, Zero-Ref works for X, Z & spindle, jog works for these axes. Some of the LED indicators on the pendant which I'd expect to light up are not doing so. We can do MDI G00 moves, turret indexing, tail-stock extend/retract.

We can not get the spindle to turn. When we give it a speed and spindle on M03, the motor for the live tooling in the turret runs - not the main spindle.

That makes me think that there are specific sequences we need to follow, which I presume would be in the operators manual for the machine. Or there are still electrical problems in the machine. Without manuals, we really are in the dark.

Anyone out there who could copy the manuals?

Hello, I'm searching for some one who has the PCM data for a Daewoo puma 8 from 1989/1990 with fanuc 15t.
I have all nc parameters but the PCM parameters are all lost.
Maybe you can help me.
