    Mach4 to Ethernet SmoothStepper Motion Control Board to Gecko G540

    I am planning to upgrade my benchtop CNC mill from Mach3 to Mach4. The mill is currently running on a G540.

    Is your board all that is needed (besides cable) to interface the computer to my G540?

    Why does the picture at the site show a ribbon cable and parallel port? I want to run an Ethernet cable from the computer to the mill.

    you connect the Ess to the G540 with the ribbon cable
