Hi,

We are a small screw machine shop looking to expend. We found a space to rent, but landlord requires us to have $1,000,000 liability insurance.
Can anyone share their experience what insurance companies they used and approximately how much it cost to get liability insurance for machine shop.

I'm surprised no one replied to this yet. Hopefully it's not too late. I've heard several people mention Sentry Insurance. I don't have a policy through them but probably in a. couple months I might. If you're just needing general liability to satisfy your landlord, depending on the size of your business and size of the space, probably between $800-2000 per year.

Hawaii requires my wife to have $1,000,000 dollars worth of insurance for her photography business, and she goes through State Farm, and it's $16 a month.
