    Post processor formats?

    Title self explanatory I hope.
    I have seen several formats (scpost, VPL, Tap, etc.) last one is not a format
    is there any actual difference between them?

    The formats you have listed are file extensions. Inside the post processor file, there is the following line:-

    Extension = "VPL";

    Whatever is inside the "" is what the extension is set to. Different posts will use extensions to suit the machine the post was created for. There are huge differences in each post processor

    Re: Post processor formats?

    I posted my gcode with the "mach3mill.cps - Generic Mach3Mill"

    It adds the .tap extension to the posted file. (could not change the extension in the Fusion configuration screen)
    I renamed the file with a .nc extension and runs fine on my mach3 router.
