I've got a iMach3 M1 USB CNC MPG Pendant Handwheel from VistaCNC
Every once in awhile it looses connection to the tormach. Seems to be when it's not used for awhile, like when cycles are running and then I need to adjust something and sometimes it's fine, others it's quit responding.
The main led stay lit but the ones down on the control buttons (axis and function) go out and nothing works on the pendant. The keyboard and mouse still function normally.
If I unplug and plug it back in the computer says it is installing new hardware but it still doesn't work.
If I close mach and reopen it everything goes back to working fine.
One day it might work perfect, the next day it might work ok in the morning, then stop responding sometime in the afternoon. restart Mach and it's fine again for the rest of the day.

Anyone else encounter this before?

I lost the pendant connection as well as usb ports intermittently with Mach 3, The Vista pendant I have doesnt work with Pathpilot, but I haven lost a usb port since I installed it.

Hmmm, never thought about the pendant not working with PP, what control do you use (I'm guessing Tormach's wheel thing)

I am using pathpilot and the Tormach shuttle controller, I do have a vista pendant but it doesnt work with it so far. I think a few of the guys have gotten it to work but takes some knowledge of linux programming to accomplish it.
