    Changing the default post processor

    Hello All,

Can someone walk me through how you can change it so that when you post out with Mastercam it will default to .cam instead of .nc

I did this with some help a couple of years ago and can't seem to remember how I did it.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi

You can change the nc file extension in the control definition under files. Have you tried that?

    Cheers

No........that only alters the control file for that session file

For the method to do permanent changes
    - you have to open the Machine definition file first....then select the control icon on the toolbar in that dialog box

Your MMD file is what is called when you select a CNC machine.......which holds your machine specs, the Control & post files
