My DNM 500 ATC is releasing the tool holder before leaving it in the tool storage. Please help if anyone knows what could be the trouble source and how to fix it.

The arm might be out of alignment.

Check with 3-piece alignment tool.

Hi dhardt , is not resolved. Is still dropping the toolholder, the heavy ones.

This tool is required to check/correct alignment (in whatever size taper that your machine is)

They are somewhat expensive.

Your local dealer might have one, or have access to one.

You could contact them about coming-in to align the tool changer.
