    Question No subprogram in memory

Hey guys, so I am relatively knew to the shop. The more seasoned guy is not here anymore, due to retirement. I have been using the HAAS mill for few months and every thing has worked smoothly up until this point. For some reason today when I went to us the Renishaw Probe to set the work offset, Z-axis, it alarms out and gives me a "No subprogram in memory " message. This is strange because I don't believe I changed anything and it worked just fine the other day. I am unfamiliar with how to program it with codes and such so it's difficult for me to figure out what the correct action is to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Re: No subprogram in memory

you cant delete the subprograms for the probe they are locked to keep you from deleting them it can be done but its a complex process to keep them from being deleted by accident. try changing batteries first alot of time probes do stupid things when batteries get low. if that doest fix it every haas come with a backup usb that you can reload the files from if you call your local haas factory outlet they can walk you through it over the phone.
