    PCNC 1100 Series 3

I am thinking about upgrading to a Haas . Before I pull the trigger, I would like to know how much these things go for these days?

It comes with the deluxe stand, and TTS. No PDB, ATC, or 4th axis.

Located in Southern California, if that helps at all.

If by "these things" you mean an 1100/3, go to the Tormach website and price your preferred package. Walkaround number for an 1100/stand/some tooling, call it 15K if you buy everything new (machine, stand, controller, CADCAM software, etc: 1100 standard package, listed at site). Used, 2/3 of that and up depending on what's included, condition, and tooling.

A used Haas VMC will be 20-120K, depending on model, age, and tooling.

The questions you should ask is what are you going to make, what machining envelope do you need, and how comfortable/capable you are maintaining and troubleshooting your machine. The 1100 is a prototyping/R&D machine which can be used in a production environment BUT the cost and support structure is different from production machines (excellent, but not turn-key). A superb machine with the wrong speeds/envelope is no joy. Define your needs, then pick the machine.

I'm in San Clemente and I'm thinking about a second machine. I'd like to see yours.

I have a 1100 Series II that I bought new in July 2011 and I have run the hell out of it.
You can buy GOOD PARTS or you can buy CHEAP PARTS, but you can't buy GOOD CHEAP PARTS.
