I'm Paulo Santos from Portugal, and i need some help.

How can i replace the spindle motor from my Gravograph IS6000 whith out call the gravograph services.

I have a 75 W spindle motor and i want to replace for one more powerfull.

Another question: The Software ASPIRE will full function whith the Gravograph IS6000 ?

My IS6000 is from the year 2001 and the present software is Gravostyle 98, and is plugged in the parallel port on PC.

ASpire comes with a post processor for an IS6000. I would contact Vectric and ask them before purchasing.

The Aspire won't work on your machine. It is a propriatary type of software/hardware.
I have an older New Hermes machine that I use aspire on, but had to convert it to run on Mach3.
This involves rewiring, controls.
I also used a rc plane style motor for the spindle drive.
very complex project.

that has a top loading spindle.. if you feel you ca get use a regular spindle then you can buy many type..

heres one.. it has rpm up to 60000 and you can achieve a lot faster federate..

of course it pending on how much you plan to invest..

changing the control... unless the old is real bad try to keep it..

other wise that also will cost about 500.. true the machine you have has a great mechanic..
