What is the preferred file format for posting RFQ's to this group? I am designing an assembly in Solidworks 2011, and would like to float it to the community for prototype production. Thanks.

You can post it in any format in this group... No problem at all...but it is better if you add igs and PDF files as well...

Parasolids are the norm for 3D files out of Solidworks.
Parasolids will retain the assembly structure when read in to softwares built on the parasolid kernel. (which is most 3D design softwares I've used)
