Hey folks!

Am new to the forum with a just arrived Chinese CNC machine. A Liaocheng Ray Fine Technology LTD 600x900 machine with a 1.5 kw spindle and a Weihong NK105G2 DST.

China's 10 day long Spring Festival just started (what we in the US call Chinese New Year) and they are not readily available for this question.

I was following their email for doing a z zero process on the machine. In order to enter in the thickness of the metal sensor plate they had me go into the DSP menu (using a hand console) to the Manufacturer Parameters and then they wanted me to go to the floating knife thickness entry. Unfortunately when I select the manufacturer parameter menu it asks for the mfr password, which of course I don't have.

Anyone out there familiar with this DSP and care to take a shot at the password?

The folks at Liaocheng have been terrific to work with BTW and I am delighted they get to take a 10 day holiday. Their absence is not an issue. I am just trying to keep making some setup progress while they are gone.

PS....I am in Seattle, WA and recently retired. My CNC and some other gear just arrived so I am working on the setup right now.

Hi Dave, if it's anything like the one I have, the password is "manufactory". Curious if this works for you too!

Unfortunately the DSP is accessed through a handheld keypad without any alpha components. Numeric control only, aside from various command symbols.

It is difficult to see this system abroad, and only a few people in China use this CNC system again, the most is KND
