I am trying to configure the following components:
Mach 4 Hobby software
Warp9 ESS ethernet smothstepper
Generic BOB
Leadshine DM1182 driver
Leadshine 86HS45 motor
When I have everything switched on, manually input G-code in Mach 4, everything works as expected. Reliable ethernet connection through the ESS board, BOB communicates through to the drivers, drivers make the motors turn properly.
I have a high-pitched whine (for lack of better description) that is being emitted by the Leadshine 86HS45 motor. Loud and annoying. I searched for a few key words and phrase on the forum(s) and found nothing applicable. The suspicion is that this is some sort of electrical misconfiguration, but I cannot figure it out from the Leadshine manuals. Anyone run into this sort of audio artifact, and know what may cause it?
Manuals are attached.
