Need advise on Fanuc 21M or 0-M control operation

I am new to the Fanuc 21M and 0-M controllers, I have been programming Fanuc lathe controls since 1994, but never owned a mill contol. I need help setting the G54 - G59 fixture offset locations. Is there a button that can be pushed on the control that will automatically set the x & y values for you or do you have to manually enter the position into the control? I need to know what value to enter, is it the Relative value or the Absolute value if it has to be entered manually? Please reply to this post , thanks in advance,

All the values are related to MACHINE coordinate system (G53)
Try <offset/setting><work><X><0>now new button appears [MEASURE]
Instead of X0 you can enter for example Z100. [MEASURE]

The Measurment Function is an Option and not all Machine tool builders purchase this from Fanuc.

If you Don't Have the Measurment Function as a softkey on the Work Screen, then you need to manually key in the work offset.

Make sure you use the MACHINE positon from the Position Display.

If your Machine Position is always Metric, let me know...

There is a Parameter to make this match the Inch / Metric setting.
