    Wmd30vl cnc kit.

    Hello guys,

I have bought a wmd30vl (long table) and want to convert it to cnc. I want to buy a kit from ebay longsmotor99 but am not sure what kit is ideal for my machine.

I have asked longsmotor99 for assistance and they suggested this kit

    【German SHIP Promote】4Axis Nema23 Stepper Motor 435oz in 4 2A Driver CNC Mill | eBay

What is you opinion, is it enough to run the mill?

    Thanks

Looks ok, but it can be hard to tell...

Why hard? Do you have the same mill? I just want to know if someone else did this mod.

I do not. Was just trying to help with a quick review. I don't see any obvious problems.

Ok, so what do you suggest to buy as a kit, can you guide me or maybe give me few links on ebay. Thanks

Again, I don't see anything wrong with that kit.

I'm not a kit person myself... I like to build things from found junk or salvage or scrap or used stuff from eBay.

This is my kind of machine. Looks like hell, but works, costs nearly zip, and you LEARN

    Another, nicer looking:

Toms: Hardware store drawer slides, skate bearings on pipe/rod/angle, threaded rod, stepper motors, laminate router. The big advantage here is that it can all be cut, filed, and bolted together with little more than hand tools.

Toms Easy CNC is documented in 4 videos and and instructables page. Uses pipes and fittings from the hardware store.

If you want something nicer looking, and more powerful, this is an interesting design:

That is quite interesting. The basics are always the same for all machines. The idea is the key. Thanks for your input.
