    4th axis weird behavior

Finally got my 6" 4th axis drive installed on my 2 month old PCNC 1100. Everything is functioning - jogging A axis works both directions, and the drive responds to G00 & G01 commands, however....
The drive rotates 25% farther than the G0/G1 command told it to.
For example: a G0 A0 command always moves the drive to the "0" point, but a G0 A20 command causes it to rotate to 25 degrees; a G0 A360 command causes it go a full revolution, past zero and stop on 90...?
Must be some kind of setup problem, but I can't find anything that references this problem.
Anyone have any ideas on this?

The first thing I would check are the DIP switch settings on the stepper drive.

It sounds like your steps per unit settings are off. In motor tuning, reduce that number by 20% for the A axis and re-test.

It was the DIP switch settings - reset them per the spec for a 6" rotary and now it works perfectly!
    Thanks!
