PathPilot with Acer FT200HQLBMJJ Touchscreen Monitor?

Since I had the Acer monitor, I figured why not try to get it working with PathPilot (v1.9.3).

When I type ADMIN TOUCHSCREEN in the MDI box and hit RETURN, there is no response whatsoever. It's like I didn't RETURN at all. No error message appears in the STATUS window. I've tried unplugging the mouse, thinking that maybe the mouse and touchscreen signals were interfering with each other, but no joy. All the other ADMIN commands work normally.

I seem to recall a posting somewhere about needing to add a line to a UNIX config file to get the Acer monitor working, but can't find it anywhere.

    Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

    Still playing with this . . .

Touchscreen works correctly in BIOS, so I think it's an Ubuntu driver/configuration issue. From intensive googling, it looks like a LOT of people are having touchscreen problems.

Feel free to chime in with any suggestions.
