    MAZAK VTC VTC 20B Spindle Malfunction

    Hello members,
    We have a MAZAK VTC 20B machine. Currently we are facing a problem with this one. It says
    Error No: 44 Spindle malfunction 3.
    Cause: The spindle (amplifier power-off level) is abnormal
    Type of error CServo control mechanism)

    Anybody experienced this error before?.
    Kindly provide any useful input

    What type of Mazatrol
    M32 or M-plus

    And the error code on the spindle driver seven segment display module is "6C"

    MDS Controller must be repaired.

    Actually I inspected the MDS-B-CV-150 power supply unit. It is not providing the MC output to energize the 3 phase contactor to give input AC power to the power supply unit. I opened the power supply unit, but couldn't find any faulty components. Any idea, why the MC output is not active?

    i sugest check a precharge resistor in drive unit and bypassing resistor
