Will Spindle Servo Drive lose parameters when disconnected from power?

Got a bad spindle servo drive. With an error, I can't seem to be able to access and record the parameters. Does the battery backup also protect the parameters of the servo drive. The control is 0M-B. Servo drive is an S3. I have the maintenance manual, but it doesn't say anything about parameter retention.

    Thank you,

    Roger

Parameters are written to EPROM, no battery backup required. Removing drive from machine or power source will not affect parameter retention.
