    KBRG with a treadmill motor

I have a kbrg 225d from a previous project and I'm currently working on a 704 conversion for a belt drive . This would be a temporary motor /drive setup as i plan to go with a VFD and a 3 phase motor. For now though i need to make a few parts and was wondering if anyone has some insight on the regenetive series of kb boards ? Will it work with a treadmill motor ? Do i even need the regen portion ? It also has a hookup for the signal coming from my 107 board off my pmdx 126 BOB . I think i paid well over 300 for this regen drive awhile back. Rather than just throw it away I'd like to get SOME use out of it .

The regenerative drives work with most DC motors of the right size.
If it is only a temp installation you don't really need it unless needing really fast braking.
