Hi gang. I just bought a Sharp mill with an Anilam 1100 controller on Ebay. Maybe not one of the smartest things I ever did, but that's another problem. My previous CNC programming experience is with a Bport Boss 5, and I got quite comfortable with that. I notice that the Anilam does not use G-codes, although it has a G-code converter. WHAT? No G-codes? Learning curve! I'm not interested in having a conversation with my controller, I just want it to obey my wishes. I see a reference to off-line software, but where can I get it? Second item: Very Important! I want to interface an indexer with the controller. I've looked at the wiring diagrams, and no references to auxiliary inputs and outputs have jumped out at me. The manual does say something about controlling external devices while using DNC mode, but it doesn't say anything about how to do it. Anybody have any ideas about that?
