How do i place my geometry on my solid model its also on a different layed a full surface model. i made the front geometry and revolved it around to make it a solid and i made the geometry above the top of the model Im trying to project it downwards onto the model i tried first as going to the layer of surface and tried project the geometry clicked on the button surface project to surface but it keeps telling me no projections found.

Check either the surface normals or the direction of projection.

I do not see where project is on the surfacing menu. Do you mean extruded? I'm working in X9 maybe the older mastercam software has project.
