    Mach3 + C35 BOB + Coolant control= Hair Loss

I’m trying to control my coolant in mach3 with a solid saterelay from my output pins and have been unsuccessful so far.

    I have Output Pins 1, 14 16 and 17 active in Mach3
    Output 1 Port 1 Pin 1
    Output 14 Port 1 Pin 14
    Output 16 Port 1 Pin 16
    Output 17 Port 1 Pin 17

I have check and unchecked active low settings on alloutputs.
The only pin that produces power is pin 16 (5 VOLTS DC)
With active low checked coolant comes on but wont cycle offwith Mach.
With active low X coolant is off and wont cycle on withMach.
I have the Disable Flood/Mist Coolant box unchecked
I have tested the relay with another power supply to makesure it does work.

    Any sugestions?

You are using a solid state relay?
Do you have the AC and load connected? Assuming you are switching an AC load.
If that is the case it needs to be connected.
How are you asking to activate the relay? GCode?
Do you have the proper assignment in Mach's spindle config?
Also IIRC pin 16 is a charge pump.
A lazy man does it twice.

    Thanks for replying.

As of right now I'm using the MDI command M7 M8 and M9.
That's helpful on the charge pump pin 16. Because the manual I have says 17. I couldn't get it to work so I just ran jumper back over to my enable pin.

    I am wrong in regards to pin 16. According to page 66 ITM 2-9, 1, 14, 16 & 17 are output pins.

Though in reviewing your procedure, it all seems in place.

Do you have the options to disable the Flood/Mist relays checked in the Spindle Setup tab by chance?

I do notice 1 odd thing. You have an output 14, 16 & 17 enabled and assigned with the same number as the output pin. Looking at page 69 of the manual "engine configuration ports and pins, under spindle" regardless of spindle relay or mist/flood relay only outputs 1-6 are available. Which pin is your relay wired to?

I am having a similar problem, have you resolved the issues with the solid state relay and the coolant?
