I researched this a bit in the UK and cost of recharging was far greater than ordering a new tube from Aliexpress. The only porblrm being getting delivery in one piece they all seem to want you to keep delivery driver waiting whilst you open and check its not broken before signing or pay return postage, unfeasable as they tend to arrive in plywood box cardboard inside and then a ton of packing. Eventually I paid extra and collected in UK still a lot less than trying to get tube recharged though!

What type of tube did you have? Glass or metal?

Glass just realised this is the metal one about $1100 for a recharge a lot more for replacement, nost companies tend to charge a fee to look and check them out first then a fee to charge them if its possible from what I have heard. Not always possible just to recharge apparently so get firm quotation before authorising any work or you may pay much more than you thought.

I called syrand fyi for anyone in the future that's concerned with a recharge, and the price varies from $1500-$2250 depends on what they need to fix. It's more complicated than just pumping gas out of a bottle into the tube. They go through the whole thing and recertify it, cleaning, inspecting, replacing any optics, electronics, etc. Hope that helps.
