Mismatched radius cutting on KMP3 with ultamax

    Sorry, it's a max32 controller

I had some boards repaired and the hard drive replaced and have the machine up and running, sort of. When I'm trying to cut a full radius one half of the radius is fairly close while the other half is off, it does this whether programming a full radius, as two arcs, a frame using corner radius etc..., doesn't matter what I try I can't get a proper radius(the drawing looks fine).

I'm assuming after having the boards worked on that there are some compensation values that need put in to compensate for the change in directions, anyone have any info on how to determine these values and how to set them so that it will actually cut a round circle(radius)TIA

You don't say by how much the error is ?
Also if it is a quadrant error ?
And if the radius was normal before you made the control changes ?
Is it the same for climb milling versus conventional milling ?

My Hurco had errors in the upper left and lower right quadrants which was caused by ballscrew wear.
You may need to do a backlash comp on the servo drivers, but I forgot how to do that ..
I had to do that after the X axis screw was rebuilt -bearings and nut.
