    Okuma VAC5.5 spindle motor fan repair tip

    Hi,

    Our Macturn 30 m-tool motor fan broke today. We quoted a new fan from okuma it was 1100 USD. But you can replace it with EPM PABST W2S130-AA03-01. Just take fan unit out of frame and it fits to okuma frame. Just need to solder new wires to fan motor(pabst one is with plug) but it is easy to do and saves you a 1000 usd. W2S130-AA03-01 (7855ES) EBM-PAPST | SOS electronic

    Thanks for the detailed tip!

    I've also had good luck replacing fans by hunting on ebay for Okuma 110V fans from deceased machines. Saves big bucks too.
