1: Please backup the plugin directory in Mach3.

    2: delete all plugins

3: install the attached plugin & configure.

    4: report back outcome

Be careful you don't blow up the driver accidentally shorting the loose wires on B- B+

    no change at all.
I tried "step low active", configured plugin buffer time (400 and 100)

Question Re: DDUM4 V1.0 and DDCM6V5.0 not working with M542T driver

There are several versions of the .dll depending on the card.

Do you have this screen with the setting in the attached image?

Didn't the vendor that you purchased it from provide the correct dll file for the DDUM4 V1.0?

Re: DDUM4 V1.0 and DDCM6V5.0 not working with M542T driver

Actualy, it is very strange. CD with manuals and plugins contained video files showing how to install and setup mach3, but it was different from manual pdf file..
Anyway, I tired all settings, but nothing worked.

plugin file is version 1.0a in manual and video, but in CD it is version 2.0a

I will ask them if they have correct file..

Re: DDUM4 V1.0 and DDCM6V5.0 not working with M542T driver

but I dout it will change anything because the other DDCM6V5.0 card that I tested had plugin version 2.0a as in manual. And it didnot work.
Anyway, I have sent it back to vendor.
I have left with this DDUM4V1.0, but I guess not for long

    Archsakas,

Sorry we haven't made any progress.

Unfortunately the original developer of the Digital Dream DSP is out of business and whats left are a boatload of clone products and impostors.

    Have a most awesome evening!

ON DDUM4V1 there are separete 4 wires for step and dir +and -. I could not wire them wrong..

Does this apply to DDSM6V5.0 200khz version too? Will it not work with the latest Mach3? Because I am about to order one.

By working do you mean moving? The one I had moved the machine straight away. What it did afterwards was much more worrying.

Yes, I have motor moving on DDUM4 V1.0 card with the latest mach 3.043.066.
I dont have 6 axis card at the moment, so I cant say anything about it.
