I am having a problem with the new (used ) Cincinnati arrow 2000 with fanuc 18i control that I just bought. I home the machine and both carousels and attempt to make a tool change and the corousel comes out but doesn't return I get a tool changer fault alarm. I believe it is either the spindle orientation or maybe the z axis position is off. At z0 home position the actual machine position is reading -0.291 on the screen. would anybody have any idea on how to set the z0 machine position and what could possibly be causing the tool carousel to jam up at spindle. it doesn't seem to be off almost .300 when carousel is out at spindle position.
any help would be great, I didn't receive all the manuals with this machine.
