    EMUFDD 4.0 - Floppy HW Emulator (+USB)

EMUFDD 4.0 - USB Floppy Disk Replacement / Hardware Emulator

    * comes to you with all supported floppy interfaces within an unique firmware, jumper-free configurable
    * loads data directly from USB-key standard DOS directories
    * is the only emulator that loads/saves data also in ISO standard format, readable by every virtual floppy software and floppy low level editor
    * can emulate system floppies, particular floppies that can't be simply copied but need a clone operation
    * can emulate any non-standard floppy format (640Kb/800Kb/1.28Mb/...)
    * EMUFDD + Virtual Floppy Drive (VFD) is a complete data exchange system, more than a plain floppy emulator
    * is an original product, designed & assembled in Italy since 2009

    EMUFDD lets:

    * any computer and industrial machinery go on working, without hardware or software change
    * people just switch off, replace the old drive and turn on: complete stand-alone hardware emulation
    * people go on working, avoiding or deferring expensive machinery replacement
    * load data into the internal memory & plug the USB-key off : no need to keep the USB-key always plugged in
    * customers rely on a prompt and effective technical support - direct line with the designer

    This looks great!
but where could I actually buy one of these things?
I don't want to break the bank, yet I could use several of these...

The EMUFDD emulator is a hardware floppy disk emulator.
    It works like a bridge.

One side is connected to the CNC / machinery, using the
    floppy disk flat cable: 34pin, 26pin, ...
it depends on the original floppy drive !

The other side is the front panel, where you can
    - [USB] plug in standard USB keys with no special format
    - [ETHERNET] plug in the standard RJ45 connector

I asked the same question... He never just answered directly. I needed to send my machine make/model to him. I lost interest.
It's likely a great product, but I've also found others for around $50-$400... I believe they cost less than the EMUFDD

All infos are provided writing an email
    to the EMUFDD customer support.

Moreover the emulator is a fully
    custom & integrated product,
not a mass hardware sold "as it is".

Pricing comes only after collecting exact
infos about your machinery & control.

Usually customers appreciate this professional approach.

No, you can't find any other product even similar to EMUFDD.

    Obviously our focus is on
    • strange/special industrial machinery
    • endurance in harsh industrial environment
    • CNC editing software integration and floppy virtualization
    • floppy disk analysis and support for backup of existing data

If you simply need to emulate a HD floppy
on a PC or on a musical keyboard then you
can simply buy a chinese emulator at 15$.
