since autodesk acquired delcam, I think its ok to show how this project cpould be solved with fusion

because.. it very understable if one cant afford a program like artcam pro..
on other hand, for a business like a high end jewelry shop-store, they might pay off on the first job..

another point, before a 10-15 years ago really was nothing on the market for hobby purpose.. true, there weren't exist hobby cnc..

so this topic indeed shows how fusion could handle this project..

with fusion possible to generating toolpath on steep surfaces with equal stepdown ..
it called ""3d conturing""

this program is free.. and really very intuitive.. just need to take time and learn.. no one bornt as machinist.. it comes with years..

================================================== =====================

my another concern, if a company like autodesk makes efforts to throwing free a program like fusion... it worth to try

on cad-side the draftsight is free, and really just same like the early autocads.. likely the 12 or 13 version..
no solids or lisp capability... otherwise same..

so hopefully it opens others eye too, the time is gone, when market was lacking programs..
