Step Motor Driver and Power Supply Wiring

We are nearly at the end of building process of a CNC machine. 3 PICStep v4 boards from fromorbit.com and 4-Axis BOB card from pminmo.com are built also. What is left for the final stage is the power supply

Rather than building a custom power supply, can we use the PC power supply? The step motors are rated for 2A so I think a single PSU will be enough to drive the steppers.

Rather than using a single power supply for all the axis and the BOB card, I am thinking about using 3 power supplies one for each axis. Would it be possible? Any tricky point that I must pay attention to?

You would be better served by wiring 3 pc supplies 12v in series. Steppers perform at higher spped better with higher supply voltages generally.
Phil, Still too many interests, too many projects, and not enough time!!!!!!!!
