Need Help Cincinnati saber 1000 Fanuc control

    Hi All

Im hoping someone can help me when I try to home my machine it does the initial homing sequence on all three axis but when it has to do the final home on the Y axis it starts to move in a + direction I then get a 1002 fault ( axis alignment time ) and 1030 axis alignment abort .

Please any help would be appreciated

Re: Need Help Cincinnati saber 1000 Fanuc control

    Hello Warren

Just posted a similar post as this, thought I would offer something. I have a Sabre 500 with Heidenhain control (Fanuc drives), mine does all the alignment and then stops, no error.

From how mine homes/aligns, it is the last bit of movement just before the tool alignment you are having trouble with, for this, I would check and clean the proximity switches at the back, could be the it is not switched and times out.

Not knowing if the setup time can be extended.

Under normal circumstances and all aligns, does yours then swing the carousel under the spindle to align tool drum ?

If it does swing the tool drum under the spindle, does the carousel move before to present tool No.1?

    Many thanks

    Ian
