    24v 5m led strip connected to 24v fan terminal?

    I wish to improve the lighting on my CNC machine, Would it be possible to connect both thhe fan and a 24v 5m led strip to 24v fan terminal. LED strip is 48W total 2 AMP Max.

    If you are talking about the 24v fan voltage on a HobbyCNC board, then NO WAY! 2 amps is a helluva lot. That output is only to drive a small fan at a few tenths of an amp.

    got a few new machines and having fun!
    swapped to uccnc software to run everything now- much better than mach3.
