Couple years ago are HRT-210 rotary table was running just fine in are HAAS VF-3 VMC. When we got the a job done we took the rotary table out and put it storage. Now when we want to used it we're getting a alarm popping up (185- A cable fault). I check the setting 30 and it set for the HRT210.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT?

Is it possible the A-axis parameters were altered between now and then? (perhaps during a software update?)

Only thing that got change on the CNC is setting 30, went from HRT-210 to OFF. For the software update we haven't had one done.

On my Haas when I remove the 4th axis or add it I go to setting #30,press the emergency stop button,cursor arrow to either off or to HRT-210 or HRT-210B(whichever you have) hit enter. Hook or unhook your 2 cables up outside of back cabinet. Take emergency stop off,hit reset,home axis. You should see that it found the (A) axis at the position window.
