I see this version on the web site. Is this the latest. I see that they recommend setting up a new profile.

I don't see where they recommend setting up new profile?

I already have version 1.2 installed and they recommend setting up new profile when moving from version 1.0 or 1.1.

From the website. I am at 1.1027

    Migrating from version 1.0xxx to 1.1xxx, 1.0xxx to 1.2xxx or 1.1xxx to 1.2xxx

Using an older major-version machine profile with a newer major software version is not recommended, we advice to create a new machine profile with the new major-version release when starting the work with the new software version. Also because there are many differences between the different major-versions of the software we advice to first install the new version into a different folder on the computer keeping the old version alive until the new version will be setup and running.

Looks like this version has added support for an ethernet version of the UC300, and maybe some new breakout boards?
Looks like one breakout board has 54 inputs and 41 outputs?

Yes, to have a goto line tho which is cool. I didn't find the edit was of much help until now, I would mostly want to use it to avoid scrolling through code as much as possible, you could before go into edit code and use find for operation name you were searching for but as it didn't give you a line number it was of no help at all. Now it does im very happy.

THE normal would be to have it similar to Mach3 where you can display teh actual line number in teh Gcode window and you can use notepad++ and display the actual line number to teh left of the Gcode. That keeps it simple and easy to use.

Yeah, does Mach 3 have an edit file function I can't remember. No need for notepad with uccnc new edit file

Just uploaded the new version and I was pleased to find the new plugin for the wireless XHC-HB04 pendant. Works great without any problems.
Now I'm waiting for the lathe version and the SAE/Metric buttons. Bob

Did you need to do anything other than plug in the USB dongle to get the XHC-HB04 to work?

    thanks,

    Jim

Excellent. Thanks. I have mine arriving from China today and I'm looking forward to getting it up and running.
I found reference to the XHC-HB04 and setup of softlimits on the Stepcraft forum. I'll have to look into this too.
