I've got a PC turn 55 and wanted to ask about what parting/grooving/threading tool to get. If you've got the tool change turret then we are probably looking for the same stuff. I've had this in my cart at MSC for months External, Right Hand Cut, QSSMAL, 0.3346 49348709 - MSC . It looks like I can get individual inserts for it on Amazon. I'm wondering if using the 2mm width insert will work fine for parting small 12-16mm diameter 6061.
