    Uccnc - g20/g21 or g70/71

I've noticed that g20/g21 or g70/g71 is not implemented.

I was wondering if a macro could be set up to store the current units per axis, then scale each of the units per axis, and then at the end of the cut, run another macro to rescale back to the original units.

Is g20/21/70/71 more complex than this?

I think the usage is to check that the control settings are in the correct units to suit the program
ie G21 ( program is metric ) .....machine is set to inch.......result = "Error check machine/program units setting" , so program should fail to actually run

You could use a different G code to scale the part, but....use caution.... it would also be scaling the tool sizes as well, RPM & feeds would be unchanged
ie F2000. mm per min.... is a little fast on an inch setting

Yes, it is. That's why Mach3 recommends using separate profiles for imperial and metric use, even though it supports G20/G21.
