    Reducing Nodes, Possible??

Does Aspire or any of the Vectric software allow a way to reduse the Node Numbers? In Inkscape I can select an object and then select "Path/Simplify" and it reduces the number of Nodes. Using a CNC Router I guess the less Nodes the faster the cut?? Have attached 2 images, 1 in Aspire and 1 in Inkscape showing the difference.

Try the "Fit Curves to Selected Vectors" command.

Didn't seem to change anything, tried each of the settings?

    Did you increase the tolerance?

    Re: Reducing Nodes, Possible??

    Hi
I found a solution to this, its not possible to reduce the nodes in vetric aspire. I start my design in Corel Draw, but instead of saving your design in DFX, DWG or AI, format. save your design as PDF and import it Aspire, It reduces the nodes by more than 95 % and processing time is greatly reduced and the cuts are much smoother also.

Hope this helps, for me it worked like magic. Hope the vetric guys add such a feature directly into aspire in their next release.

I second that. From Corel to pdf and there are muuuuch less nodes.
