Hello, I am looking for a 4x8 laser cutting machine to cut 1/8 aluminum diamond plate for less than 40k. Is there such a thing?

i very seriously doubt it as aluminum takes a lot of umph to cut with a laser!

But I have been wrong before I think? It was so long ago maybe I am wrong about being wrong!

If you are only going to cut aluminum you may be better off with a punching machine. Some of the newer punching systems can punch aluminum faster than any laser.

Thats a good solution.

Punching machines are actually a lot more versatile than lasers anyway.

Probably cheaper too but I wouldn't know.

There is a lot used punching machines around example armada, strippit/lvd, trumpf, finn power,

For 40k i think it is quite impossible to find a decent one except maybe a very old model.

Do not forget you need punch and die for it which will add in more money for each different set.

The punching machines are pretty fast. They are just a little louder than a laser, though.....
