I'd take a punt, that it is stating that there is a discrepancy in the spindle programmed RPM and actual RPM
I'd start checking if any binding, any lub issues, any clamp/unclamp issues (might pay to remove and inspect hyd. clamp tube)
These are the cheapest checks
A wiring/ motor problem may need a tech and would need a few $$ thrown at it.
I’ve seen that alarm when the encoder is going bad. Sometimes you can adjust the gap to cure it, but usually it needs replacement. Superman is right when he says the motor and encoder are reading different RPM’s.
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.
or just some dirt collected at the serrated wheel of encoder.
