SL3 Yasnac LX1 Canned cycle help

I'm just getting started with my new old machine, a Mori SL-3 with Yasnac LX1. I'd like to use the canned cycle for stock removal G71 for turning and G72 for facing. Seems like a great way to save a lot of code lines. But, I haven't figured out the correct syntax. Could someone please help out? The machine just tells me I have an error in my canned cycle. I've cut a lot of air and used over a quart of Waylube, but I've made no parts.

I do have programming manual for SL-3 Fanuc 6T.
It is not Yasnac but program should not be different I assume
PM me with your email and I send it to you.
Congratulation, and good luck with your machine.
I got mine not so long ago. Click image for larger version.

Look for an example I have on youtube, put in my name: Heinz Putz, to see on of my CNC DVDs.
Look in part 5 for my explanation of the G71 cycle.
There is more on my website: Fanuc CNC programming training. Learn CNC for Fanuc, Yasnac, Mitsubishi CNC controls, CNC Machining Videos and DVD's, CNC programming training, CNC education, and CNC consulting.
    Good luck: Heinz.

Hello again: Where are you in the US. "Spot on" is not exactly an american expression, maybe a little southern?
You will have more questions about the Yasnac, do not hesitate to write for answers.
There are quite a few Canned Cycles, like the G76 does threading it figures out all threading passes for straight or taper threading.
    You also have Noseradius Compensation.
    Good luck: Heinz at doccnc.com

I live in Maryland, but grew up in West Virginia. And, yes, I'm sure I'll have more questions. Thanks for offering to help. I've looked at the G76 command, but chose to use G92 instead. G92 allows for more control of the depth of each cut, at the expense of writing more code. Otherwise, I don't see any difference. Is there any? Nose radius comp is one that I haven't even thought about yet.
