Hey Guys

I have come to realise that life is just to short to be cranking on a manual milling machine wheel, so, have decided to take the plunge into the world of CNC.

Naturally budget dictates what is affordable along with garage size which has led me to the decision of a Tormach PCNC770 which arrives mid August.

In the meantime I have been teaching myself CAM in Fusion360 and watching a lot of videos off Youtube which has been helpful, but still so much to learn. If you know of any other useful links to resources please be kind enough to share.

Ok, onto my question. I was wondering if the following tooling would be suitable for Aluminium and Steel. Obviously I would like to have a lot more tools at my disposal but cash is a little tight.

Aluminium

6mm, 10mm & 12mm - 2 Flute End Mill
6mm, 10mm & 12mm - 3 Flute End Mill
8mm, 10mm & 12mm - 2 Flute Ball End Mill
12mm Long Series - 3 Flute End Mill

45 Degree or 55 Degree??

Steel

6mm, 10mm 12mm - 4 Flute Rougher
6mm, 10mm 12mm - 5 Flute (For Finishing)
8mm, 10mm & 12mm - 2 Flute Ball End Mill
12mm Long Series - 4 Flute End Mill

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to your comments.
