when you for example have a part with radius R5 and you select end mill diameter 10 exactly, solidcam will create toolpath as if you're creating a rectangle, so the toolpath will look something like x..y....x....y....(no G02 or G03).

when you select tool which is 9.98 or less in diameter, it will create normal toolpath with G02 or G03.

how to disable this behaviour and force it to always create G02 and G03?

because you can put tool diameter 8mm in machine and it would then still create R5, not R4.

this, my guess, should be somewhere in postprocessor, but where? or is it somewhere in solidcam settings?

I Guess you are trying to output the gcode with out reducing the tool radius so that you can enter a tool radius in the machine and the machine will compensate according to the tool Dia . Well this option is not available in solidcam . It controls the tool side and compensation you can choose either left, right or center . In your case it should be center but solidcam will turn off the compensation once you choose this option. Again if you are looking for a small arc move in corner there is a control box in the technology page which allows you to blend the inner and outer corners as you wish .

can you be more specific about what this blending of inner and outer corners does? i dont quite understand it.
