Exclamation Okuma LB-15 OSP 5000L (not the OSP 500L-G)

Right, so I am posting on behalf of my brother-in-law... he just started a new company, and has one of these lathe machines. I believe he has work to do on the machine for a client.

The problem is, that he cannot get his Edgecam software to communicate with the CNC Lathe. He has a background in the industry, and has tried everything but nothing is working. It's definitely a cable/configuration issue, not a user issue. He has tried making up 2 new cables, and still not working.

Does anyone know where he can find the RS232 pin mappings? The cable is a 9-pin (laptop side) -> 25-pin (lathe side)

I assume there are also a bunch of config settings that one would need to have setup the same on both ends, we would need that as well?

Thank you everyone, I hope someone here can assist

Hi Richard, not sure if this link will work.. if it doesn't try doing a search on here as there is a lot of info to be found.
