    How do I clear tool data, OSP7000M

    Hi all,

    Is there a way to clear the previous owners tool dia. and length offset data on our Okuma VMC with 7000M control?

    Yes, press SET and write 0 and press ENTER key.

    Going from memory I think it was TLCLR then enter on the command line.
    Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

    Not sure if this would do as you ask
    reference..... Okuma_OSP7000M_Operation Manual_3754-E-R2 (ME32-069-R3) (page 52) "Clearing/Setting Tool Numbers"
    In the DATA SET screen ... if you input TCAN <write>
    - it cancels all the tool data
    then use TSET <write>
    it then sets the tools to match the pot # in the carousel.... ie T1 in Pot #1 etc

    read this section, it ask for additional confirmation.....you need to know what the consequences would be..
