We have Wasino LG 60 lathe with a Fanuc 3TC controller.
Looking at how to run the machine such as to turn the spindle on and off manually. How do we do this from the operators interface?
We can manually jog the table in both directions. How do we home the unit?
Does anyone out there have an operators manual willing to sell or copy?
We have have a maintenance and parameter manual already.
Last is there someone located in northern Ohio that would be willing to train?
Fanuc supposedly has the operators manual for $28.00 with a lead time of 125 days.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi johnd,

I can share how our Star with FANUC 3T-C operates and my FANUC 3M-C. I hope it helps....

On the main control we switch over to "MDI". Then on the input buttons there should be some keys for "POS", "PRGRM", "OFSET", etc... Press the PRGRM key and it will bring up a screen with letters. Enter "S500", then "INPUT". next enter "M03", then "INPUT, then "START". this should turn on your spindle to 500 rpm. to turn it off, just type "M05", INPUT, START.

To home we JOG the AXIS off the home position, or wherever it is at. Then switch the dial to ZERO RETURN. You may be able to just press momentarily the +X or -X (or +Z, -Z) or have to hold it in. But the axis should move towards home and then reach the limit switch. Our X HOME or Z HOME light will come on when it has reached its destination.
