MX4660 smoked driver after none moving estop...

I just smoked my second driver last night. This is AFTER installing the recommended shunt regulator... I caulked the first one up as my fault as I didn't know about the shunt regulator so purchased a new driver. This time, not so much.

The same thing happened as the first time. The machine was NOT moving, I hit the estop and it shorts out, then the power supply does not power up.

How should I go about getting a replacement board, and at this point I feel sending two out would be justified. Also, I feel like a wasted 100$ on this shunt regulator that doesn't seem to help....

    thank you

Where did you get the shunt regulator? Try calling leadahine.
